About the 7-Inch Santoku Knife

The VG10 “super steel” 15° double-bevel blade features multi-layer of Damascus cladding on each side for unparalleled strength. Rich, elegant and truly beautiful to hold. The dark ebony wood handle knife combines the natural beauty of African hardwoods with modem technology to create a handle that is as beautiful as it is strong and functional.

Blade: The blade features custom 73-layers high-carbon stain-resistant steel with additional cobalt and vanadium. This provides the long-lasting sharpness and hardness (HRC 62+/-) of high carbon stainless steel, and the ease of maintenance of stain-resistant steel.

Handle: Dark ebony wood is ideal for knife handles. The ergonomic design improves productivity and comfort and helps reduce physical fatigue. Special stainless steel compression rivets do not rust. These rivets are secured to each other inside the handle; this also fully secures the two handle scales to the full tang.
