Its highly polished blade is made from 45 layers of Japanese high-carbon stainless steel. It is extra strong, rust-resistant, and stain-resistant. The ultra-razor-sharp blade cuts easily through thick meat, retains its sharpness very well, and is easy to resharpen.
Full tang blades with triple-riveted handles ensure ideal balance and weight. A curved and recessed bolster provides a seamless transition from handle to blade, resulting in comfortable thumb and finger support for better control and safety.
Blade: The blade core is made of ultra-hard Japanese VG-10 stainless steel which is enveloped by 22 layers on each side with soft and hard stainless steel. This finest stainless steel contains a lot of carbon and has an unprecedented hardness of approximately 61+/- Rockwell. VG-10 steel is used because it ensures a high degree of purity and an exceptionally sharp cutting edge.
Handle: The beautiful handle is made out of FDA-approved night-black G10/FR, which is an odorless and enormously durable material made of glass fabric and electrical grade epoxy resin. It has full tang construction, which gives the knife outstanding stability and balance.
